M1 Nanophysics Quantum Physics
The M1 Nanophysics Quantum Physics offers fundamental courses in condensed matter physics, oriented towards the study of matter at the nanometer scale. It also enables students to acquire multidisciplinary skills thanks to a wide range of courses and practical works covering the entire disciplinary field of nanosciences.
This program is accessible to students having a Bachelor in Physics or Physical-Chemistry. It is open to international students. All courses are given in English. The training is strongly supported by research units in Grenoble working in this field, thus offering students numerous internship opportunities. Students in this track can participate to the Graduate School program Quantum which is supported by the Grenoble research federation QuantAlps. Master's scholarships are available for the best international students.
The M1 Nanophysics Quantum Physics gives access to the second-year programs (admission in M2 is automatic upon success to the M1) :
- M2 Nanophysics
- M2 Quantum Information Quantum Engineering
- M2 Ingénierie des micro et nanostructures (alternating education/work)
